Traditional village pub
Pitches up high so great views
Spacious serviced pitches
Pitches with rural views

  • Small site in the grounds of a Callow End traditional village pub
  • A 15-minute drive from the Malvern Hills and Worcester
  • Large beer garden with outdoor tables, play area and chickens
For those couples/travelling parties that frequently face disagreement over whose turn it is to be designated driver, there’s really only one sensible solution: bed down right there at the pub. Dozing off at the bar might be considered a little unseemly, so The Old Bush’s owners Matt and Karen have come up with a better solution and set up pitches in the garden area behind their rural Worcestershire pub. Thus guests can partake of dinners accompanied by a few local ales/ciders before strolling home (to a peaceful corner with drinking water, showers and 24-hour toilets) in just a couple of minutes – how civilised. In fact, the whole setup here is rather civilised: The Old Bush is a traditional country pub in the little village of Callow End, with food available at lunch and dinner times, plus a menu of mini meals for smaller guests. On warmer days the merriment spills out into the garden, where there’s a play area, an aviary and a little flock of chickens along with plenty of tables for open-air drinking, dining and admiring the views over the Malvern hills. Of course, one can’t sit around in the pub all day (well, maybe not every day, anyway…), so it’s worth noting that this is also a handy location for walks, horse riding, games of golf, fishing and days out in Worcester and Malvern (both 15 minutes away by car). Handily, if you do ‘accidentally’ sup one too many at lunchtime there’s a bus stop in the village so you can still get out and about.

Power optional gravel motorhome site

Liked: The location is spot on - perfectly level pitches with the convenience of the pub, garden and shop. Bacon butties the next morning are essential. The facilities were snug but very clean and perfect for the size of the site.

Disliked: Not much.

Power optional gravel motorhome site

Liked: A lovely little site, with beautiful views, up the back of a terrific pub. If you want to eat in the pub definitely book! Really handy little farm shop/cafe, run off it's feet for breakfast, but so friendly. Everything you need - electric, water, etc. and it's very clean. Only 2 loos, but never an issue. Loads of lovely walks from the site, including kids play area (ours are 8, 11 and 14).

Disliked: Have to walk through the pub garden for showers, but we went in the AM, so not an issue. If you are bothered by that sort of thing, worth knowing!

Power optional gravel motorhome site

Liked: Lovely campsite situated behind The Old Bush Pub. Pub is fantastic with delicious food and such friendly staff and locals. There is also a cafe on site which does breakfasts, coffees and cakes and a small shop. All in all a lovely place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.
