  • Dog-friendly site 10 minutes’ walk from riverside Upton upon Severn
  • Malvern Hills five minutes’ drive, and Tewkesbury 15 minutes
  • Fishing on site; restaurants and marina nearby in Upton
Black-and-white houses, a stunning riverside, a packed schedule of festivals and pubs to please fond-of-food punters: that’s a snapshot of Upton upon Severn, a waterside town 10 minutes’ walk away from The Old Allotments in Worcestershire. The USPs for this low-key site are just as pleasing: dog-friendly pitches, fishing on the banks of the Severn and facilities that include toilets and showers, an Elsan point and a washing-up sink. With such a handy location so close to the town, riverside walks or cruising down the river on a hire boat could soon be on the horizon – Upton upon Severn has a busy marina with a bar, restaurant and boat hire. There are supermarkets five minutes’ walk from the site as well as pubs, eateries and takeaways a little further away. Regular events take place at the Three Counties Showground (10 minutes’ drive), and The Old Allotments is also a handy base for exploring the natural beauty of Malvern Hills National Landscape.

Great, well-kept campsite with spacious, level grass sites. Easy walk to Upton-upon-Severn's pubs & shops. Basic but clean facilities with good hot showers. Some road noise, but mostly okay. Secure entry is a plus. Many keen to return.

Liked Great location with short flat walk into town. Site was at with scattered trees which was useful for shade. All the required facilities were there and toilets and shower rooms were clean. Two nice shower rooms with a toilet, space to dress and hooks.
Friendly owner kept us informed by text and came to collect payment the following morning.

Liked Friendly owner, great location for town. Nice walk from the back of the site along the river. Grass pitches with basic showers and toilets but all clean and plenty of hot water, coded gate. There's a little road noise but didn't bother us. Foot path all the way into town.

Liked Really nice site, it’s basic but clean and in a great location. The town, which is lovely, is less than 10 minutes walk away. It is on a busy road but it didn’t bother us. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be re-visiting.

Liked Quiet pitch away from road, lots of birdsong and good facilities, great shower and plenty of hot water. Easy walk into Upton upon Severn and supermarket less than 10mins walk

Disliked Road could be noisy if pitch was that side but not an issue for us. Basins in washrooms could be bigger

I would definitely come again

Disliked Walk along very fast road to town- obviously not the fault of the owners but I'd be wary of it with children.
Could do with a few solar lights by the entrance & facilities
