Liked: Lovely big tent pitch with electric between two hedges . Very private. Great fishing !
Disliked: Toilets and showers - floors always wet and filthy as were toilets. Some of the showers didn’t even have hooks behind the door so no where to put your stuff to keep it off the filthy wet floors. Need a little bench or something in there. Needs mops or something in there if it’s not going to be cleaned regularly during the day. Hand dryer on wrong side of basin in toilets and keeps going on as u r sitting there.

Liked: Nice clean site with plenty of room for your pitch. The cafe is nice and useful. There’s 2 pubs about 20 minute walk away.
Disliked: Hooks in the showers for clothes had all disappeared and no mats on the floor.

Liked: Quiet, plenty of space, electric hook up good. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Showers and toilets not cleaned regularly. Lack of little things like hooks in showers and toilets, no stool or chair either so no where to put your clothes. Floor was wet and muddy so it was a bit of a balancing act. Nowhere to put shower gel etc other than on floor. I suggested a squidgy to clean the floor after use and was told they'd get nicked. Not enough toilets for patrons. No shaving/washing teeth brushing facilities including sinks mirror for hairdryer etc. Getting rid of grey waste was difficult as it was the same place as toilet waste and it was high. Only 1 water tap for fresh water.
Hedges could do with a trim.
Be aware only one single lane entrance and exit with no passing places.

Disliked: The pitch was quite tight to get into and out of. Might have been a problem
If there were more caravans there . The pitch itself was a good size though

Liked: We were delighted by our stay at this family-owned and run and family-friendly campsite. There's a great choice of pitches, including a large field and several spaces separated by hedges that provide more privacy and protection from the wind.
Although we didn't fish, the main draw of the site are two fishing lakes, which are popular with campers and locals alike.
The toilet and shower facilities were spotless when we arrived in the early evening and some of the cleanest and most modern we've encountered on our extensive camping adventures. Best of all, the reception houses a shop and cafe that serves hot drinks and food throughout the day. We enjoyed a generous and reasonably priced hot breakfast which set us up for our day exploring a nearby country park. Thank you Charlotte for a lovely stay.
Disliked: Local scout groups enjoy activities in the extensive grounds, including paintballing and kayaking. Sadly, these aren't available to the general public.
