The Meadow unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site (no pets)
Liked: Beautiful site, loads of spaces between pitches and freedom to pitch where you like. Awnings and pup tents were allowed even though pitch up advert suggests they aren’t. Could buy wood there and borrow a fire pig. Piglets were wandering around and there was a farm shop.
Disliked: The campsite sign had fallen over so we couldn’t see where to turn it. We phoned the number given but the signal was bad. Pitchup should direct people to the farm shop. The toilets were not cleaned while we were there and didn’t have toilet roll in them. Portaloos in each field but only a couple of showers for the whole site. Price was more than pitch up said.

Field stay unpowered grass and earth tent or trailer tent site
Liked: Friendly staff, warm welcome and beautiful site. Great to get away from it all. Don’t take your own meat as it’s all sold there and looks amazing. We would definitely return.
Disliked: Booked through pitch up.com and was advised it would cost £10, and I booked for 1 adult and 1 child. When we checked in, I was told that I had to pay another £5 for my child. You cannot pitch in the woods unlike some photos show. Health and safety. Everything was great there but Unfortunately as the darkness fell, the noise from other campers rose. We were next to the woods and lots of people decided to run through there screaming and shouting.

Field stay unpowered grass and earth caravan site
Liked: Really rural, quiet, picturesque location, wild pigs, pheasants roaming and a basketball/football pitch for kids. Really friendly and helpful staff, on site farm shop. Absolute bargain for the price though.
Disliked: The toilet/shower block looked pretty run down. The fields aren't very flat, so pick your pitch well.

Field stay unpowered grass and earth caravan site
Liked: Properly back to basics, peaceful, good location and lovely people running it! It's a working farm so don't expect anyone at your beck and call. Portaloos spaced around the field, and regularly cleaned out. Very close to the NEC and they were fine with me car camping. Can't recommend this place enough. Also had a small "football pitch" for the kids and lovely walks around the area. Farm shop (didn't try it but had good reviews) and a biomass heated shower. In a shed. Back to basics. Bloody lovely!
Disliked: The lane to the farm is very tight. Large motorhomes might struggle as there are few pressing places. Pitches are in a field, so not all level.

Liked: Basic but totally adequate camping. Quiet but friendly. Woods were great fun and we'd like to camp in the woods when the weather allows. The swing was a real hit. Lovely walk to the nearby village to see the underground houses. Lyra says: The scenery was beautiful and tranquil. It had a remote feeling and we loved to discover the secrets of the woods,it was like a playground to us. Bodhi says: I loved cooking things ourselves and hearing the birds in the morning.

Liked: Really surprised by the great facilities here, the fantastic farm shop with an array of wonderful produce, the warm welcome we were greeted with. The free showers and toilets near the shop was a great addition as well as I think the cleanest portaloos I've ever been in dotted throughout the meadow fields. We'll definitely be back
