The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).- A charge of GBP1.00 ($1.94) applies for the use of the shower.
- If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
- Please note that the toilet facilities are unisex.
- Firepits are free to use but do require a £20 cash only deposit on arrival.

Liked: We stayed in a roof tent. Toilets and showers ok. No silly rules. Park anywhere. Beautiful views. Dogs on leads. Quiet after 10pm. Fire pits allowed only if use theirs and buy wood. Great price per night

Liked: Stunning views Fire pits available Fair prices Clean toilet block Plenty of space to choose pitch All relatively flat Nearby pub in case of bad weather
Disliked: Nothing! (Except that the pizza van unfortunately wasn’t there the weekend we went - the pub was ok for food but not great, would just cater at campsite next time and enjoy the lovely views!)

Liked: Absolutely wonderful site, plenty of toilets and showers which were very clean and had plenty of toilet roll. Showers were £1 for 5 minutes and they were lovely and warm. You are able to hire fire pits and buy wood, we didn’t but lots of folk did. It’s a very friendly site with a lovely chilled vibe. Lots of places to visit, we went to Three Shires Head and Dovedale Stepping Stones. Would definitely recommend and would return. Thank you for a wonderful weekend

Liked: Nice flat site, decent toilets and sinks. Lady came and offered fire pits when we arrived and checked us off the bookings list (having booked same day). All good, and as expected. One or two reviews mentioned the road nearby, so I pitched the other side of the field. But the road wasn't too busy (Friday and Saturday nights). Friendly and generally courteous groups otherwise.
Disliked: Would be great if the showers were not paid by cash (I'd have happily paid a couple of £ extra to have them included. Nothing else, great site and good value for money.

Liked: Excellent booking process and price. Lots of detail before we booked. Fantastic site location with good facilities. Friendly staff bought our wood and fire pit to us. Pub down the road was just the job!
Disliked: Rain on the morning we packed up but nothing you could do about that! 🤣

Liked: Lovely location with beautiful views and plenty of flat short-cut grass. It was a very windy night but plenty of natural shelter was available. Facilities plentiful and clean - will definitely return!
