Liked: Loved the fact that all we had to do was take clothes and towels. Loved the way we could just get out of the car after a long journey and everything was beautifully set up already. The tent looks awesome. The bed was really comfy. Great for charging up phones and tablets etc. Cool box that you could swap out the ice blocks from the freezer and next to the freezer is an electric kettle. All the facilities were lovely and clean. Always hot water in the showers. Being so close to alton towers is the biggest thing for me. I forgot how tired you get after a day or two walking round. It's only 7 minutes away and that's if there's traffic. It's also really quiet. I expected it to be a bit noisy but it's so peaceful. There are restaurants and pubs just a short walk away too. I'd defo recommend it. 100% we'll be staying here again the next time we come to alton towers.
Disliked: The only thing I could say about and it's not even on the campsite, was a couple of the stiles on the footpath walks to the villages are in need of stabilising and are a bit overgrown. But that's really nit picking.

Bell tent
Liked: Fantastic couple of nights spent at Tommy’s Tent that allowed us to dip our toes into camping without spending a fortune on tent and equipment. The tent was perfect and all set up including camp beds for our boys. Cooking equipment and crockery etc were all provided. The site itself was clean and with plenty of space for everyone. There toilet block was clean and warm with decent shower facilities. The football pitch was a highlight for my sports mad boys! We loved it and will definitely be back … thanks to all the team for being so helpful and welcoming

Liked: The tipi was beautifully prepared for us. There was everything we could have possibly needed during our stay and so much space for the children to run round and be free, with the little park on site and the football field. They asked me to book so we can come back again before we had even departed to come home. We will definitely rebook again for later in the year.
