What customers say
This big, friendly campsite gets props for its cracking spot, a hop, skip and a jump from Shrewsbury town. Reviewers rave about roomy sites and top-notch staff. Newer loos and showers are a hit, though some older ones are a bit tired but do the job. The chill vibe and dog-friendly attitude are a bonus too.

Location OK only being 15 minute walk from town the pitch sizes good.
Powered grass site
Liked Location OK, being only 15 minutes walk from the town, the pitch size is good although a bit uneven so blocks would need to be used for some.
Disliked Toilets, no reception to report any to.
The toilets were very smelly and not cleaned daily unless they were but not very well. There is a newer block of portable showers and toilets but there is only 4 and with the size of the site this is nowhere near enough, there was a couple of the cubicles where the door didn't shut and lock properly.
No reception to report this to although there is a number to call upon arrival.
Potential for a really good site just needs updating and organising better with new toilet and shower facilities.

Liked Spacious pitches, can more-or-less pitch where you like; walking distance into town, friendly staff, good wi-fi
Disliked Old toilet block is really smelly, hand driers don’t work. New toilet block was never really clean. Disabled facilities very basic.

Disliked The old toilets and the noise levels at night. Nobody telling noisy drunk campers to calm it down They went on being noisy till at least 12.30 am Singing shouting I think there was a rave in nearby fields one night that stopped about 2.30 3 am
