  • Five-metre bell tents with proper beds on a private Cotswold estate
  • In the grounds of Cornbury Park; two miles from Charlbury
  • Spacious glamping accommodation on the edge of an ancient woodland
Set in the stunning surroundings of Cornbury Park, this glamping site in Oxfordshire is on the edge of an ancient forest that's full of opportunities for relaxing strolls. The surrounding area has 1,700 acres of some of the oldest and best-preserved woodlands in Britain, making this quiet spot well-suited for nature fans and birdwatchers. Red Sky at Cornbury Park is two miles from the gorgeous town of Charlbury in the Evenlode Valley, where there are shops, public transport links including a railway station and some very photogenic buildings. There are plenty of places to get out for a walk nearby, with peaceful waterside stints by the river Evenlode particularly recommended. The five-metre bell tents that have been set up here are spaciously spread out over these green surrounds and come fully furnished and with access to private toilet facilities (please bring your own toiletries and towels). Well-maintained shared facilities include water points and showers. Barbecues are available here, but please note that the site is glass-free for safety reasons. This family-friendly spot is close to lots of nearby Cotswolds attractions, with local highlights including Burford (15 minutes' drive), Blenheim Palace (20 minutes), and Stow-on-the-Wold (25 minutes).
