What customers say
Sherwood Pines: stunning, tidy woodland campsite, perfect for outdoorsy types. Praised for spotless facilities, roomy spots, and friendly staff. Forest walks, bike trails, and Go Ape are big pluses. Site can get busy and a bit noisy at peak times, but overall, most loved it and want to go back.

Excellent site, close to amenities and places of interest.
Powered gravel and concrete site
Liked The staff were friendly and knowledge. Any issues we had (not with the site) were taken seriously and addressed.
We had a choice of pitch and the ground was level and well maintained.
We liked the separation of the site using hedge/ trees that when they are more stable will be even better.
The toilet area, showers and washing up areas were large, modern and spotlessly clean whenever we went.(We were there on a busy weekend). Well done to the staff.
Our three year old thought the playground was 'great!'. It was well maintained and had something for all ages.
There was plenty of space around the pitches so we weren't on top of each other.
The Wi-Fi and electrical hook up worked well and we're reliable.
The site is great for dog owners, plenty of space and forest walks.
We didn't have any complaints at all with the site or the staff team. It was a brilliant stay.

F.A.B !!!
Unpowered grass site
Liked A pleasant welcome from the guy in reception who gave me options on the type of pitch I would prefer. Showed me to my pitch, a very good size and flat. The campsite is literally on the edge of the forest so it was perfect for letting my dog off the lead and she could run free. Just needed to be respectful of mountain bikers so I put my dog back on the lead each time families biked past. The toilet and shower block was spotlessly clean, the showers were a decent size, nice and hot and plenty of places to put all your essentials. Plenty of clean washing up sinks too. Woke up to peace and quiet watching rabbits hopping about outside my campervan early in the morning and then squirrels in the forest, a great place for families and children of all ages !
Disliked Nothing

no zones, campers and tents together, loud and noisy, exorbitant price
Unpowered grass site
Liked Large toilet block, showers, clean.
Close to a pine forest with attractions for families, bicycle routes. large dishwashing area, laundry room,
Disliked The campsite is too expensive. The tent is on sand with small rocks, and the ground is hard and compacted. The grass is mainly in the central areas. If you want to pitch your tent on the side, the ground will be a problem. Nighttime silence begins before midnight, children ride bikes between tents after 7 a.m. All together in one place, too loud for us. We like to listen to nature, but here it's different. A shop at the reception, but very poorly stocked
