What customers say
Top spot, friendly & spacious park, great staff, handy shop. Peaceful vibe, wildlife, good facilities. Food vans a hit, lovely stream/lake setting. Some found bathrooms dated, e-bike/cordoned area rules unclear, and Wi-Fi patchy.

Had a really peaceful and relaxing…
Powered grass site
Liked Had a really peaceful and relaxing couple of days away at this very friendly and spacious park. Everywhere had a toilet or water pipe close by, everybody was so respectful on a noise level at a decent time. The shop was very handy for anything you have forgotten. And the pizza van that came on an evening was honestly one of the best pizzas we have had before. The money was absolutely worth staying at this place again, and we are very much looking forward to returning many times in the future to come.
Disliked Toilet roll was bit low ran out on couple of toilets and relatively clean. WiFi connection wasn’t strong. Reception is quite bad there. Minor things nothing to prevent coming back

Amazing - best campsite we’ve tried so far
Powered grass site
Liked Very friendly, wildlife (ducks/swans/geese) never far and roaming about, great sized pitches, go ape and small villages close and walks/woods and a cafe close
Disliked Disappointed we couldn’t have a fire pit but it has been a very hot summer so think this was a one time thing not that you can’t have them all the time

We recently stayed at this campsite…
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked We recently stayed at this campsite and, while we enjoyed some aspects of our visit, with a store onsite supplying many camping equipment if needed. And the lovely stream for the children to paddle in and the location with many attraction near by such as wheelgate theme park which was a personal favourite.
Disliked The bathroom facilities are in need of modernisation. They felt dated and could really benefit from being updated to improve the overall experience for guests.
When we arrived the parks were cordened off then undergoing renovations, i felt this should have been clearly stated on the website before we booked as our children were disappointed.
Another major disappointment was the restriction on electronic bikes/hoover boards. This wasn't made clear beforehand, and as a result, our children were very disappointed as they were unable to use their electronics during the stay. Better communication about this policy before arrival would have helped us prepare and avoid upsetting the children.

Stunning, family-friendly forest stay with brilliant staff. Loved it!

Liked What a stunning site! The setting has it all for a quiet, relaxing holiday—the forest, the lake, and the river are all fantastic. It’s very family-focused and ticked every box for us taking the kids. The local wildlife was a real highlight—the geese, swans, and ducks were so tame and loved coming right up close to the caravan! The wardens were super helpful and always visible around the site, which was a lovely touch, and having the on-site shop selling caravan and camping spares was incredibly convenient and very reasonably priced.
Disliked The facilities were kept very clean, but they could do with a bit of modernisation. For example, the push-button showers only have a single fixed temperature setting that you can't adjust. It's also worth noting that our pitch on our Willow pitch it backed directly onto a lake. It made things a bit nervy at times keeping an eye on our 3-year-old - we managed fine, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're bringing young kids.

Liked LOVED! shop was great all sorts of items to buy and good prices. Pizza van was also amazing tasted beautiful and the iced coffee! Highly recommend. Was on lakeside and was so beautiful really helpful friendly staff and made it even better didn’t have to be off site till 7pm made the pack up easy breeze
Disliked Not great signal but rest of the site and views made up for it I didn’t mind having no signal but teenage kids wasn’t a fan
