The Little Stable is a luxury wooden cabin that sits in a peaceful meadow next to a 300-year-old oak tree in the green Northamptonshire countryside. Sleeping up to two people and striking just the right balance between high-end luxury and rural vibes, this timber-built glamping getaway is excellent for couples after romantic country retreats. In the bedroom, the luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and a deep-pocket sprung mattress of the built-in kingsize bed will see to it that you have a sound night's sleep. Next door, an ensuite bathroom has a well-presented shower and toilet, while the main living area comes with features like a well-equipped kitchenette, oak flooring, a plush velvet sofa and a flatscreen TV. French doors (which can be covered by wool tweed curtains when not in use) open out onto a private patio, with views out over the meadow beyond. The cabin and meadow are part of a larger 63-acre stretch of land adjacent to Laundimer Woods, so there’s some fantastic walks and wildlife on your doorstep. While this is a quiet and out of the way spot, it's only about a mile and a half from Weldon, where pubs and a shop are available.
