Camping pod

Liked: The glamping pod was superb - even the small touches were excellent. We stayed in 'Chicken' and had chicken themed duvets, tea towels, prints etc. The only thing we needed was our own towels, literally everything else was provided. The working farm was excellent too; my niece loved the tour of the animals and her highlight was 'touching an egg freshly laid'. They've literally thought of everything - wheelbarrows for transporting cases, emergency torch (in case you've forgotten yours); toilet roll and washing up liquid; even milk and homemade biscuits. The site is small with 5 pods in total, but each has it's own fenced plot with wild garden so you're pretty private. No WIFI though - but you don't mind as the sites so peaceful it's nice to get away and spend time with the family. An excellent, excellent stay

Camping pod

Liked: Absolutely beautiful setting and welcoming host. Sheep and a horse in the field directly opposite our glamping hut. Huts are built on site by the owners and are well maintained, decorated, designed and furnished.

Disliked: Nothing. It’s a small site with no play facilities for kids so, if you’re taking kids for more than just a few days, you might want to look for a larger site. However, this isn’t a negative - just something to be aware of before booking.
