Banish any visions of a stressy holiday stuck in hot cars and slow traffic out of your head… At North Shore Holiday Centre, a family-friendly Lincolnshire site 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Skegness, you won’t have to travel far to stay busy once you arrive. North Shore is on the outskirts of Skegness, and there’s plenty of seaside resorty things to do within easy reach of the site: the sandy beach, pier and town centre are all within walking distance, and you’ll have to drive for less than 15 minutes to get to the museum, nature reserve, aquarium or theme park. There’s tons to keep you busy on site too: play a round of miniature golf, perfect your end-game at the nine-hole pitch and putt, have a go at bowls or boules, try out the arcade games and go game-set-match on the tennis courts. Feeling peckish? There are oodles of eateries within 25 minutes’ walk of North Shore, or you can settle in for a meal on site – call in to the fully-licensed bar-restaurant, then stick around for the evening’s entertainment.

  • 5kWh of electricity per night is included, any usage beyond this is metered on site at £1 per kWh and must be topped up at reception. Sleeping in awnings and exceeding caravan berth are not permitted.

Disliked £5 electric included ran out in the middle of the night, woke up freezing cold.
Went for shower at 10am no water for shower or to flush toilets. No notices to this effect. No staff around site.
Checked out 10.50 receptionist very off hand. No apology. Just ‘did you have your heating on?’ Yes. ‘Oh it’s not enough electricity for that’. We’ve never had a problem before and stayed several times at different times of year.
Also she said ‘water was off, didn’t find out before 8.30 as no staff before then’ No apology, no recompense for inconvenience or failure to supply services we’ve paid for. No notice put up in toilets so was undressed for shower before realised couldn’t actually shower! Shockingly bad. Very disappointed.
Also very inconvenient electricity card cannot be topped up except at reception which is shut from 5 ie when you might need it.

Liked The site was great & the pitch easy to find right next to the shower block which we requested. The staff are friendly & the restaurant onsite was warm & welcoming.

Liked Large level pitches. Very good, clean toilet/shower block, although it was a bit chilly (we did pick the coldest couple of days of the year though) It was obviously out of season so park was very quiet but clubhouse was warm and welcoming. Ten minute walk to town. Will definitely return

Liked Lovely site, quiet but that's the time of year. Walked in to Skegness town and popped to the beach.
The sitenis very clean and looked after. Showers were clean and well kept and warm

Liked I absolutely loved our stay here. I love how the pitches are spaced out with the perfect amount of room. Reception ladies are lovely, nothing is ever too much. Your left to enjoy your holiday. Perfect location, very quiet and calm atmosphere. Couldn't beat it.

Disliked I think proper WiFi should be a priority on this site. This would bring it up to par with other sites we visit and looking at profit margins by Coastfields it isn’t too much to ask!! Unnecessary penny pinching
