Liked: The site is lovely and quiet Spotlessly clean showers and loos Shower block/washing up not too far away Site felt very safe Owners are friendly and helpful Lovely ice cream place/restaurant 10mins walk away Close to beaches

Disliked: Nothing it was lovely and will defo book again next year My only suggestion would be have a ‘honesty box’ shop where you sell ice creams, ice bags, things people forgot etc??

From Market Rasen crossroads/traffic lights take the B1203 to Tealby. After three-quarters of a mile turn left onto Walesby Road. Drive a quarter of a mile down Walesby Road and turn left down the lane signposted Walesby Woodlands Caravan Park. The entrance is 150 yards on the right.

Local attractions

For day trips, Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes on the Lincolnshire coast can be reached in about an hour in the car and lovely Lincoln is within about 40 minutes' drive. If you prefer to stick closer to home on your own feet/wheels, Walesby Woodlands is on both the 75 miles of the Lindsey Trail and the National Cycle Trail One. The Viking Way, from the Humber Bridge in north Lincolnshire to Oakham in Rutland, also passes near the park, as does the 78-mile circular Lincolnshire Wolds Way (handily broken into daily sections of about six hours each). Lincolnshire is pretty nifty for market towns and shopping, like at Louth, Horncastle and Woodhall Spa, all well within an hour's drive; be sure and wheel back many samples from Louth's award-winning The Cheese Shop. At Woodhall Spa, have an old-fashioned evening out at Kinema in the Woods, entertaining those around the area since 1922 and with its own 18th-century organ – and organist.
