What customers say
Peaceful adult-only site with great views, wildlife & spacious pitches. Spotless facilities, friendly owners. Minor gripes: uneven pitches, hot water glitches, distant dog barks.

Liked This is a lovely little site, spotlessly clean and up to date shower block, very peaceful, you can actually hear the owls at night.

Brilliant 3 night camping experience.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Enjoyed a adult only 3 night camping trip with no EHU.
The campsite is extremely quiet and relaxing, the shower and toilet facilities were the best we have experienced. Brand new shower and toilet block that was spotless with copious amounts of hot water. We stayed in the Top field , lots of space in between campers as you can pitch up where you like as no EHU restrictions.
Hosts extremely welcoming when we arrived and gave us all the info we needed. Be aware the campsite is very rural and not a lot around within walking distance, Tesco express 15 mins drive, but that's what makes it so quiet and relaxing. We did walk to the nearest pub (Skipworth Arms ) about 3 miles and took just over an hour but it was nice walk with a couple of pints at the end, we ended up getting a local taxi back.
I would like to say all the campers on site respected the rules and there was no issues with noise etc that so many people seem to report now when writing reviews at different campsites.
Overall we had a fantastic time and would definitely return .

From the manager: Thank you Gary for your great review, we are pleased you had a relaxing weekend camping in the Top Field.
As you pointed out we are in a rural location but I'm glad you managed to walk to a local pub, if the weather is good then walking is great!
We look forward to you visiting us again in the near future.
Very nice. Will be back .
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Excellent site with the cleanest showers and toilets I've come across in a campsite. The people are very helpful and friendly. We had the top field almost to ourselves. It was lovely and quiet. Will try the fishing lake next time. It looked really nice with a good selection of course fish in it.

From the manager: Thank you Abigail for taking the time to leave a review.
I'm sorry that you were unsure where the rubbish needed to go, no one else has ever mentioned this before. We have 2 black bins very close to where you were sited in the top field and a recycling area near to the toilet block. We are always on hand to assist if you need any help or guidance.
Cleanest toilet/shower block I’ve ever seen!
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site
Liked We stopped at Little Owls for 2 nights and absolutely loved our stay. The site was lovely and quiet and really made for the relaxed weekend that we were looking for. It is also not far from Willingham Woods which we had a drive to. The toilet and shower block was immaculate! I haven’t seen anywhere so clean! It had a separate room for pot washing which also had a notice board with pamphlets for activities in the surrounding area, as well as information on local taxi firms and takeaways that would deliver to the site. They have a separate area for recycling etc which the owners were always on top of emptying. The owners were also very welcoming and friendly. They offered us an electric hook up cable if we needed it and also asked us the following morning if everything was ok with our stay. I’ve already recommended this site to a few friends and we would definitely visit again in the future!

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked The wild meadow field, very peaceful and quiet, calming views, adult only, very clean facilties, local walks.
Disliked We would have benefited from the grass being cut as there were patches of nettles throughout the field where you walk.
Mixer taps would work better as hot water was very hot.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased you enjoyed a peaceful break camping in the top field. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the field didn't get cut as planned in time for your stay, so apologies for that.
We take on board your suggestion about mixer taps and we are seriously considering changing all the taps at the end of the season.
