What customers say
A peaceful, no-frills site behind a friendly pub known for tasty, affordable grub. Pitches are usually roomy and flat, with power. Some say facilities are basic but clean; others find them dated and needing TLC, especially the loos and dishwashing hot water. Some campers reported noise. Great value.

From the manager: Thank you so much, it was lovely to meet you all.
Very nice site.

Liked Lovely old pub with a huge field at the back with pitches clearly marked out.
No views.
Called into the pub on arrival & Jean explained what pitch we were on and where everything was.
The facilities (showers/toilets) we didn't use as we use our own.
The outside water tap was a bit awkward to use as the press button was a lot higher than the actual tap. There was only one.
The Elsan point was clean.
The Sunday lunch was delicious.
Would definitely go again.
Disliked The people on the next pitch, in a tent, decided to keep their car parked within 2ft of our motorhome, though the pitches were plenty big enough to park in front of their own tent.
The site guide does say cars should not be parked on the field but no one seemed to either know rhis or take any notice.

Liked Very quiet. Handy to have the pub/shop/restaurant on site (even though we didn't use these).
Disliked Water hog tap is very low pressure and you have to keep your hand on the push button. It took 10 mins to fill.

Disliked We were there 3 days, there was no toilet paper in toilets, only 2 toilets and 1 shower, no hot water at washing up station, nobody came to clean shower/empty bin/top up toilet paper, toilets/shower need update bit pricey for the primitive facilities
