What customers say
Great spot! Relaxing campsite with a top-notch pub for good tucker. Pitches are flat & roomy. Facilities are clean but basic, could do with a freshen-up. Hot water can be patchy. Staff are legends, super helpful. Mostly peaceful, but a biker do might not be for everyone.

Liked Very quiet. Handy to have the pub/shop/restaurant on site (even though we didn't use these).
Disliked Water hog tap is very low pressure and you have to keep your hand on the push button. It took 10 mins to fill.

Liked Quiet level pitch, pub food
Disliked We were there 3 days, there was no toilet paper in toilets, only 2 toilets and 1 shower, no hot water at washing up station, nobody came to clean shower/empty bin/top up toilet paper, toilets/shower need update bit pricey for the primitive facilities

Liked The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly. The food served in the pub was lovely with generous portions. All the campers seemed respectful of keeping noise to a minimum after 10 and overall it was very peaceful
Disliked The site has stopped providing much toilet roll due to people dropping rolls in the toilet. It's not really an issue but something to be aware of as you have to remember to take some with you whenever you leave the tent. The toilets were kept very clean though

Powered grass caravan site
Liked Had to put my stay back a week so l phoned the pub direct, no problem. This is a good basic campsite, if you want a 5 🌟 site go down the road. This is perfectly good for days out exploring the east coast, it is a nice flat field with EHU, has 2 toilets and 1 shower room. The pub is a lovely country pub/restaurant and the food is excellent, it's also dog friendly.
