Get Lost In Nature is a small-scale glamping site in a peaceful private woodland 10 minutes' drive from Market Harborough. Located on a 400-acre working family farm and surrounded by rolling Leicestershire countryside, it's run by Julian White, a former professional rugby player who is passionate about preserving the environment. The farm is home to a prize-winning heard of south Devon cattle and a large flock of sheep (it's possible for the kids to meet some of the animals at select times; as it's a working farm, they will also be able to see tractors and trailers and, in the autumn, combine harvesters, working in the fields). Each furnished bell tent has an outdoor decking area with a table and four chairs. They are lovingly decorated with bunting and contain a kingsize and two single beds, all with luxurious cotton bedding, duvets and throws provided. Firepits are provided at each tent, with locally sourced sustainable wood available to keep you toasty as the sun goes down. There is also a large central firepit where you can kick back with other guests. A communal outdoor covered dining area is available too, and there's a chillout zone ('The Snug') where you can relax around the logburning stove, play a board game or enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. Away from base there are plenty of local footpaths, as well as several country pubs. The White Horse public house can be accessed across the fields on foot, while many others are a short drive away.

Bell tent

Liked: The setting is absolutely beautiful and the bell tent was immaculate, the facilities where so impressive and also beautifully build. Sara the host was so lovely and made us feel so welcome, it’s a perfect place to literally ‘get lost in nature’ in a beautiful setting. I’ll definitely be returning, if only for the hammock between the trees.

Disliked: Nothing
