Set nestled between the Shropshire Hills and the Black Mountains lies our part of Rural Herefordshire with great walks and cycle routes. Detox from technology, Get back to nature and enjoy a relaxed break in the hills of Herefordshire. We have private Grass pitches for camping and motorhome use, where you won’t be sat right next to your neighbours. Because we are on site most of the time you will be able to ask any questions you need to make your stay easier.

  • Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.
  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • Single-sex bookings of 10 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
  • Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
  • There is no reception building on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
  • The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.

Two village shops a tearoom serving breakfasts and lunches in Kingsland and a Café at Shobdon airfield serving Breakfasts and Sandwiches, good vantage point for the light aircraft aviation enthusiast. Private Fishing on the River Lugg is also available to those only staying at The Meadow, only a short drive away. Six miles from a Large Morrisons, Co-op and Aldi. With a good selection of takeaways too, one Pizza and kabab takeaway does deliver as well. With the Small Breeds Farm Park only a stone’s throw away, in Kington, you will have fun for all the family. National Trust Property, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, less than 20 minutes away. The vibrant city of Hereford is only 30 minutes away by car, allowing you to pop out for dinner and not having such a long journey back to The Meadow to enjoy a peaceful beer or glass of wine to round the evening off.
