What customers say
This peaceful riverside campsite offers a tranquil country escape, loved for its natural beauty, wildlife, and being close to Pembridge village. Sites are level, many with river views & EHU/water. Facilities are basic but generally clean. Some noted the single loo & no showers. Ideal for a quiet, relaxing break, with friendly owners.

Liked We LOVED it here. Idyllic, peaceful and beautiful, couldn’t ask for more.
Electric and water at the plot, which, although cold only onsite is a massive plus to other places we’ve stayed.
Very friendly and super helpful trying to sort assistance when my car suspension broke.
Utility/toilet area lovely and clean.
My son said it’s the best place he’s ever stayed.
Fab Center for local walks.
Disliked Nothing!
Satnav doesn’t work and sends you to a private residence, so some guidance from the centre of pembridge would be very helpful.

Liked Calmness of the area, birds singing and the babbling river. Also we had the field to ourselves. Pembridge, a mile away, is a gorgeous village too with an amazing church and bell tower.

The Leen is the place to be, we love coming every year…

Liked The Leen is the place to be, we love coming every year to stop and relax. The Leen is a working farm but the atmosphere is welcoming, and quiet with the owners always friendly.
There are plenty of long walks around surrounding areas and beautiful scenery. There is plenty of animals and wildlife around being a working farm which is great for the kids to explore and adventure.
Every time we have visited over the last 3 years, it’s always been relaxing, allowing us time to reset our batteries and it’s been thoroughly enjoyed by our dogs and little one.

Liked Immediate assistance offered when I broke a spring on my tow car. A professional mechanic was on site within 15 minutes and carried out a replacement the following morning at a very reasonable rate enabling us to continue with our holiday.
The site is stunningly beautiful with an abundance of wildlife and lovely walks.
The working farm continues around the camp ground but does not disrupt enjoyment in any way.
If you cannot live without the internet, find somewhere else to stay. We found it very welcome!
Cannot recommend it highly enough if peace and tranquility are your objectives.

Site clean no issues at all.

Liked Loved this site, about half hour walk to nearest village which is very picturesque, had a lovely lunch just out of village at a campsite called Townsend (great air con much appreciated during the heatwave) small well stocked shop in the village also. Site is very peaceful. Lots of birds of prey circling. Was lovely to see the cattle passing on there way to be milked. Right next to a river that you could paddle in, we had issues with our motorhome on route to site and owners let us use the office address to order fuses from Amazon which arrived next day. Would definitely visit again and definitely recommend. Thanks Emma & Rich
