Time for a Cotswolds retreat with your beloved? How about a romantic few days away at High Hill Farm Shepherd’s Huts, five minutes’ drive from Hawkesbury Upton in Gloucestershire? Here you can escape everyday cares and soak up fantastic views from a cosy cabin on wheels with spectacular views stretching as far as the Severn Vale and Welsh hills.
The Hare Hut is a traditional shepherd’s hut on a working beef farm; its interior is cosy and welcoming with a double bed (luxury linens all supplied), a smartly designed kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge, and an ensuite bathroom with shower. A woodburner ensures that you both keep nicely warm no matter what the weather is doing outside.
Moving outside, you'll have a private fenced garden in the corner of a farm field; there’s a firepit for any barbecuing you might like to do, and an outdoor table and chairs. Parking is by the hut.
Keen hikers will be pleased to know that there is direct access to the long-distance Cotswold Way. Anything you need provisions-wise can be picked up within 15 minutes’ drive, and there are two pubs roughly 20 minutes’ walk away.

- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
- There is no reception building on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
