Could be better

Liked Friendly welcome. Handy for bus into Gloucester. Nice to be able to choose our pitch, although our options were restricted by low trees.
Disliked The site looks very promising, but it's let down by a few things. The facilities could do with an upgrade. There were dodgy locks on doors, and there was no toilet paper. No cleaning appeared to be done while we were there (2days)...the toilets were in the same mess. Only 1 shower had a seat.
The pebbles throughout were noisy and difficult to walk, bike or push a pushchair on.
Static caravan residents use the camping area as a dogwalking area.
Vacating by 10am is a little mean.

Saw some very unfair reviews of this place online. Some people love to complain. Honestly it’s a bargain for what you get. Don’t be put off

Great stay would go back
Unpowered grass site
Liked Owner friendly and helpful to allow us to park where comfortable with more space. The facilities were good with showers and toilets for male and female and separate shower and toilet for all to access. Nice sink area to clean and get water. Everything communal cleaned in the morning
Disliked One toilet in the females did not lock

I highly recommend this campsite for a lovely peaceful family holiday

Liked We had a great weekend.
The campsite was beautiful and well thought out. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The toilets and showers were very clean and tidy. The campsite was very peaceful. We loved watching the bats at night. There was plenty of room for the children to play without getting to near other campers.
We will definitely be returning.

Easy to locate, quiet surroundings with clean facilities!
Unpowered grass site
Liked Location was very easy to find, especially as we were on our bikes cycling from Gloucester.
Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and helpful when I arrived!
The facilities of toilet, washrooms and showers very close by. The readily available got water was very welcomed after a long day cycling!
Disliked The general waste and recycling options was a bit confusing.

Nice level pitches; cosy feel, though toilet facilities are not great
Powered grass site
Liked Well kept pitches, friendly reception
Disliked The toilet facilities are not up to scratch. There is only one toilet cubicle and no private sinks for wet shavers - you have to stand in the open, right next to the urinal.
