What customers say
Farwood Farm has plenty of room on its sites, with lovely views and farm animals. Kim and Mark are super friendly and helpful hosts, and the barn with free tea, coffee, and bread gets a big thumbs up. The walk to the loos and showers is a minor point for some, but most reckon it's a ripper spot for a peaceful getaway and keen to come back.

Good view. A bit too much chicken and sheep poo to feel hygienic.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Good view and friendly staff.
Nice to have a campfire by the tent.
Lovely to see the pigs (in their own field) and the veg growing.
Good for kids to see the animals.
Disliked Steep field so hard to find a flat pitch.
Field covered in sheep poo - ok when dry but wouldn’t have liked to camp if rained!
The Barn where the kitchen and bathroom is, is overrun by chickens and so covered in their poo and very smelly.
Smelly drains.
Only one toilet and one shower for the whole site.
Close to Road.

Liked We loved the spaciousness of the campsite meaning we could find a lovely quiet spot away from other campers. Equally if we had been with friends it would have been easily possible to all pitch up together. The sheep and chickens roaming freely was lovely and the possibility of freshly laid eggs and other farm produce was great. Kim and Mark were really lovely and helpful and met us at the site to explain how everything worked and where to find everything. It was my partners first time camping so we only stayed for one night as a 'test run' but would have loved to stay longer, the site was so lovely and peaceful.
