What customers say
Whitemead Forest Park: spacious sites, gorgeous forest setting, great facilities (warm pool, good tucker, clean loos). Friendly staff, direct Forest of Dean access, heaps for families. Well-kept, organised. Most keen to return. Minor notes: occasional noise on busy nights, dogs have limited access to some spots.

Lovely camp would definitely return.
Powered gravel and concrete caravan site
Liked Large pitch, camp surroundings and grounds were beautiful, lots to do if you want to spend extra money, did not go swimming but heard it was a lovely warm pool. Restaurant food was extremely good. Toilet and shower blocks very good and clean. A fair size shop. Ice cream cabin and an excellent coffee shop. Would definitely come back.
Disliked Not a dislike but more of a warning to others, Friday night and Saturday nights can be very loud, people outside their caravans and motorhomes talking and shouting loudly at 11.30/12.00 at night having no regard for others trying at sleep. Not the camp’s fault just inconsiderate humans. Be prepared for the sheep that wander around late at night bleating from the Forest of Dean.
Also had no network for my phone as the Forest blocked it.

Overall, we had an excellent week and have rebooked for next year
Mega camping pod (no pets)
Liked Cleanliness of the park. Staff were very helpful. It's very organised there. Lovely location. Park is kept well.
Disliked Unfortunately, we were there the hottest week of the year so sleeping in the pod was very uncomfortable and difficult. Loose hair kept clinging to my hands whilst swimming.
It was clear also that there are rats around. We saw one near our neighbours pod on one occasion and I saw two down near the front of the main building another morning. Food in the main bar could be better.

Great site
Powered gravel and concrete caravan site
Liked Fab pitches facilities excellent pool immaculate food reasonable prices excellent quality club house grounds excellent check in efficient and friendly easy to get to site fees reasonable fee wifi is a nice touch loads of shower areas maintained really well
Disliked The grounds around pitches needs regular grass cutting. Planters in fire breaks makes manoeuvring large caravans difficult if pitch adjacent occupied. Patio area around club house dangerously slippy in wet wifi unstable and interminent on pitch
