What customers say

This well-kept campsite's clean, roomy spots and friendly staff are a hit. The cafe's tasty homemade grub and great facilities, especially the hot showers, get rave reviews. Close to forest walks and villages. A bit of road noise and dodgy Wi-Fi noted, but most want to come back.

Liked We had a great 3 nights at Greenway Farm. Staff were friendly. The toilet block was clean with plenty of showers and toilets. The cafe served good coffee. The pitches were well laid out. It was a lovely place to stay and good value for money.

Liked Clean well kept sight, nice toilets and hot showers. Lovely cafe on site offering hot and cold meals option to sit in or takeaway staff were friendly and service was great.
Site is a good place to use as a base point to visit other locations.

Disliked I have no idea who was running the place as I did not see anyone for the 7 days we were there.
Very noisy past 10 pm with children running around in and out of parked cars on scooters late at night. Dogs off lead.

Liked This is a lovely campsite it is set on
the outskirts of Drybrook village with views of hills and sheep.
There is a small paddock with goats and donkeys for the children.
The shower and toilet block were cleaned daily, and there were plenty of cubicles.
On site, there is a cafe that serves breakfasts , evening meals, and homemade cakes.
There was also a WiFi code available, something you don't always get.
This is the second time we have stayed here and enjoyed it last year.

Disliked Nothing to dislike

Liked Pitch was clean, neat, good size and level. Ablution facilities were good with powerful water flow in showers… on site cafe (separate business) was top notch with excellent food..

Disliked No dog poo bins on site.. No separate proper recycling facilities, just glass… no motorhome waste water drive over facilities for larger more modern motorhomes..

Liked Beautiful place to stay! Pitches are big enough, very comfortable.
Toilets and showers are clean all day long and work perfectly.

Disliked Our pitch was just at one side of the road and we could hear every car passing by. Also there was a group of people in the tiny house just behind us partying and laughing until 3 am which was a real nightmare

Local attractions

Symonds Yat (20 minutes’ drive) sits on a rocky outcrop above the River Wye. After you’ve admired views of the valley and lush countryside (and perhaps spotted a peregrine falcon or two soaring above the water), you can take a stroll through the forest (there are several circular trails) or hire a canoe or paddleboard to take in the scene from a different viewpoint. Cross the River Wye and you’re in Wales, where you can spend a few hours wandering around the pretty town of Monmouth (20 minutes), with the stone Monnow Bridge, the Castle & Regimental Museum and a thriving high street lined with cafés and independent shops. The remains of Tintern Abbey (35 minutes) stand on the banks of the River Wye, and what remains they are. Built in the Middle Ages, this ruined edifice still impresses with its Gothic window frame decorating the facade and arches running the length of the nave. The green forested setting is no slouch either, with Lippets Grove Nature Reserve just across the river.
