What customers say
Top spot for a chill break! Think heaps of room on flat sites with awesome views. Dunny and shower blocks are spotless – reviewers love 'em. Dead handy for hikes, exploring the Peak District, and hitting up local pubs and shops. Easy peasy check-in and friendly staff make it a go-to for coming back.

Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Loved the self check in. Nice roomy pitch. Water close by. It's a shame the pub is closed now.
Disliked Close proximity to loud children and two dogs that went beserk every time anyone else's dog went past.

Nice clean site
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Nice clean site. Nice easy self check in with allocated pitches. Request to be next to friend was met. Water right next to pitch. Lovely view from my end pitch.
Disliked No elsan. A bit crowded in that there were other pitches 3 sides of me, so loud children were more annoying than they needed to be. A hedge separating the rows would solve that, and make it a little more private. Pub closed (which was made clear).

Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked We found that being given a pitch number hugely helped. There was no rushing for a space, or struggling with room.
Everybody stuck to the rules of the site, theres was next to no noise, other than the sound of donkeys! Which is nice haha.
There’s a couple of pubs within walking distance, a cute cake shed and other amenities.
There’s showers, toilets and fresh water around the site, which are clean! There’s two washing up sinks, with sponges and washing up liquid
There’s a cafe at the front on the main road which is reasonably priced too.
Within the ‘check in’ area there was the WiFi code, which is strong enough to watch Netflix at night. There’s also a list of options on what to do!
We will absolutely be returning.
Disliked We didn’t dislike anything on our trip.
