What customers say
Great Peak District spot near Castleton, heaps of walks. Owners, especially Jess, are legends & loos are spotless. Lovely, no-frills camping with farm critters. Sloping ground's a bit of a thing, but folks manage. No showers & sometimes noisy neighbours mentioned.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site (sloping)
Liked Great location, only a 10 minute walk from Castleton and great access straight onto the hills. Very well kept site although sloping, but didn't really bother us at all. Clean toilet block and always soap, towels and paper. Also nice to see goats, chickens and rabbits. Friendly owners.

Family friendly, picturesque, great for young kids.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site (sloping)
Liked We had a lovely stay here. The site is very picturesque, it's on a slope but very easy to pitch and comfortable. There are cows in the next field and goats on site which the kids loved. Basic facilities but very clean and exactly what we needed. Easy to find the site and a very convenient location for exploring the local sights. We reported an issue and it was resolved quickly and properly - the owners seem very nice, personable and switched on and clearly want the site to be a happy and peaceful family friendly retreat to explore the gorgeous surroundings. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will certainly book again in the future.
