What customers say
Lovely quiet site with great views. Spotless facilities (kitchen's a bonus!). Goats are a hit with kids. Steep road, but worth it for the location. Management's sorted water pressure/facility probs.

Proximity to local pub and fish…
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Proximity to local pub and fish and chip shop. Tidy site and good size. Check in was easy and goats were a fun positive.
Communal kitchen with toaster and fridges was a nice surprise
Disliked Steep hill to the above pub but can’t be helped. Toilets and showers were quite busy and dirty by the morning with the weather conditions. 1/2 toilet had a broken toilet seat which wasn’t ideal and showers were cold for a while in the AM

Great basic site
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Great views, great location, basic and very relaxed site, good kitchen and toilet block, cute small goats.
Disliked Toilet block good but showers were difficult to take due to dirty floor and no chair, bench, etc to get changed on. The two toilets ran out of toilet roll.
The two fields are on a slope: ok if you don't mind this but otherwise it's difficult to find a flattish spot.

Nice site, terrible facilities.
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked If I were staying off season this place would be great. The surrounding areas lovely and turning up and pitching up is easy.
Disliked The number of people to the number of toilets were ridiculous, there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers. The mornings are spent queuing for a loo. By the end of our weekend there was no toilet paper and a toilet seat was missing from one toilet. The camp site owner/manager were nowhere to be seen. People could turn up, not pay, this is not managed very well.

Lovely site to stay but needs more toilets.
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked We loved the goats and facilities were nice and clean.
Lovely area!
Disliked Not enough toilets/ showers for the amount of people who stayed.
Showers kept going cold, seemed to be if people were using the taps, it affected the showers.
Pitches seemed really close.
We were kept awake by people in the tent next to us.

Good location, toilets could improve.
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely views from this site. Very quiet too being a long way from any main roads.
Field had a slight slope to it so wheel ramps help level your camper if you have one but it’s well mowed and fairly spacious.
Goats are always a nice feature, the kids spent hours with them.
Disliked Only two toilets - just not enough for Friday and Saturday nights, you end up queuing up which is not great when you have small children with you. It also felt like the toilets were sorted on the Friday and not touched again all weekend so they got worse and worse condition, toilets seats sliding off when you sit on them and no bog roll so if you want a final poo before leaving you’re better off finding a bush.

Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely quiet site. Great for exploring the area or just relaxing with the view. The goats are a real plus! We ended up staying an extra night. The little kitchen with fridges is brilliant - so nice to be able to make a brew without getting the stove out and keep bbq supplies cool 😊 facilities were great. Thank you!

Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Great views, very clean, great hosts nothing too much trouble, great facilities, kettle, toaster, tea and coffee, 2 communal fridges, kids will love the goats attached to the field from the farm house. A proper switch off, no shop or park, a great family play time. Loads of walks available if that’s your thing too.

Chilled campsite with good facilities in a stunning setting.
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Beautiful spot - views all around of rolling hills with dry stone walls, very peaceful. Clean and fresh toilets, showers and kitchen. Straightforward simple set up. Hosts friendly and helpful - available by phone if needed. Ground flat enough for pitching tents. Great to be able to have a fire pit to cook on and sit around in the evening. Pitches around the edges of the fields so space in the middle to through a frisbee or kick a football. Family friendly, also good for couples and solo travellers. Very close to the national park and the walks we wanted to do. We also loved the cute goats.
