It looks like they are developing, a little shop for basics would be nice. And toilet block needs improving. Half the price would have been happy but you can find much more beautiful spots near by with better facilities.

We completely understand that the current amenities don’t yet reflect the quality you’d expect, particularly at this price point. Since High Hermitage was recently acquired by Maguires Country Parks, we’ve begun a phased redevelopment of the site, and the toilet and shower block is a key priority for improvement. Plans are already in motion to modernise these facilities, including improved water pressure and updated interiors.

Out-dated toilet facilities, and no washing-up station. the fact that quite obviously campervans and caravans were not really wanted, and that static chalets were vastly more important (as well as being increased in number).

Gordon was onsite to welcome us, he was friendly and approachable and was always around for any questions. The site is a lovely tranquil site, a little haven out of the way of hustle and bustle
