The shower is large, and has hot water.
Pub , small supermarket and train walking distance away.

This site is very much a site gradually being upgraded, mostly concentrating on Holiday Units at the moment, so do not expect too much on the touring side of things. Would not recommend at the present time, but given time it will be good I am sure.
Δεν μου άρεσε: Easily the toilet block, it is very old with just one toilet and shower in the Ladies and Mens, not very nice either.
Not sure what the plans are for the future, but a new Shower/Toilet block is badly needed.

We acquired the park in May last year and have already made many improvements, and plans are in place to continue this into 2026.
Whilst the shower block is clean and fit for purpose for our guests, this is one of the key areas we are looking into going forward.
Big flat pitch. We will definitely go back.

The site is really smart and tidy. I like how open the site layout is. Pitches are huge and I really like the grass areas in between each pitch with a picnic bench. The fully serviced aspect of the pitches is fantastic. So convenient. Another fantastic touch is the laundry area, there is a washer and dryer free to use! This has been amazing when staying here with a toddler.
Δεν μου άρεσε: Facilities are a bit poor. There are two toilets and a shower for females and the same for males. This is fine when the site isn’t busy but unfortunately it’s also very cold in there due to no roof insulation or appropriate heating, so we haven’t been brave enough to shower in there. Despite this, they are lovely and clean

We only acquired this Park in 2024 and a lot of renovation work has already been completed.
We are aware that whilst fit for purpose, the shower block is in need of upgrading and plans are in place to do this.
This site has a lot of potential. Friendly staff and a great location.

The staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The manager even pumped up our caravan tyres, as he noticed they were a little deflated.
We had a large, fully serviced pitch, plus a picnic table.
A field to let the dog have a run in too.
Our son had a competition at Close House Golf club, so this was super handy for that, just a mile down the road.
Plus a pub, with good food not far away either!

Δεν μου άρεσε: Poor standard of washing facilities. Only ONE very dated shower with poor water flow. No TV reception or WiFi signal.
VERY EXPENSIVE at £38.50 for what you get.

As you will have seen the Park has already had a major refurbishment with new turf, tarmac and trees planted etc...to elevate the look and feel for visitors.
Whilst the toilet and shower facilities are fit for purpose and clean, it is part of our plans to upgrade these as well in the near future.

Now the tarmac has been laid on the roads there shouldn't be any further work that will cause major disruption to guests.
