Toilets and bathrooms were immaculate, welcomed nicely and hospitality was great.

Amazing welcome from the owners. Loved the dog exercise area, animals on the site kept the kids entertained. Lovely pitch and fantastic toilet and shower blocks.
Five stars from us all - Mum, Dad, three children aged 12, 8 and 6 plus a sprocker spaniel.

Great friendly staff, wonderful greeting and always happy to talk. Pitch size good, also good shop with variety of camping needs catered for. No great queues for loos or showers.

My wife isnt a lover of unisex loos and showers so bit unhappy, although the new block had individual shower/sink/loos (however out of loo roll on several occasions).

Only main complaint was if you are going to advertise heated shower blocks then turn the heating on (even if it was summer), radiators stone cold every time we entered the showers so towels cold also.

Fantastic stay yet again at Shepards View (this was our 4th visit) So much so we decided to stay an extra night! Julie, Stephen and all of the girls are fantastic hosts, very accommodating, the site is very well maintained and the shower/toilet facilities are always kept very clean, highly recommended! See you all again soon

Great family site, boys enjoyed fires every night and the animals. Little on site shop was very handy but close enough to local supermarkets etc.

The pitch with hard standing and grass for the awning was great for coming and going in the van through the week. Location was excellent for us great little walk to the empty beach! Also an easy stroll up the beach to seascale and the local shop . Great shower block and toilets and very welcoming and helpful staff.

Not really a dislike but it can get a bit windy due to being close to the coast but some good windbreaks did the trick

Good site, brilliant facilities, good pitch and plenty of room for the kids to play. Well run and the friendly staff couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be using this site again.

Well kept pitches and site. We were moved to an extra large pitch due to a larger tent - it very spacious and the ground was perfect for pegs. Shop is well stocked, from drinks and snacks to accessories if you've forgotten something for setting up your tent! Toilet/shower facilities modern and clean. Very friendly owners and couldn't have been more providing and helpful to us! Fantastic experience overall and certainly would recommend to everyone. I won't lie - I was hesitant before booking due to the negative reviews, but whilst we were having a drink over the campfire, we agreed that the people leaving bad reviews about the owners are those who probably don't/didn't respect the rules that they've put in place on their property/land. We somehow managed to have an amazing time both on-site and off-site, and we are a group of lads. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I would recommend maybe putting an indicator of some sort on the doors of the toilets - can't remember what TV show it reminds me of but it was funny to see how many doors it took before one opened. Minor issue though.
