Large fully serviced pitch with plenty of spaces between pitches. Lovely Marina and cafe serving food and drinks all day and dog friendly , and licensed . Short drive into Nantwich and plenty of lovely walks along the canal

Lovely campsite in terms of being on the marina, canal side & lots of space for the tent pitches, we had a group of 4 tents, 4 cars & a gazebo and still plenty of space for everyone but very basic facilities on site.
The kids enjoyed fishing on the canal at the back of the marina which is equipped with picnic benches and the onsite cafe is licensed with a good selection of food although slightly overpriced in my personal opinion.
The reception area is very modern, staff were friendly & helpful and there are good shower/toilet facilities which are warm and well maintained. The site looks lovely all lit up in the evening, but it’s a shame the lights go off about 10:30pm as it leaves areas very dark.
WiFi available up near reception which is great signal & free access but doesn’t reach anywhere close to the camping field /glamping pods (this wasn’t an issue for us but could be for others)

The lack of facilities for camping are evident, no washing up stations on the fields for tents which proved quite difficult as a group of 4 families with children, the toilets & showers on the camping pitch are rented portacabins meaning they quickly got smelly, slippery and the water was freezing cold. The main shower block is quite a walk from the tent field so something needs to be done to make the facilities better for campers & those in the glamping pods. The staff did mention the possibility of building a toilet/shower block down on the camping pitch would be fantastic & we would definitely come back once these facilities are complete.
A small onsite shop for essentials would also be useful as the location is quite remote and the nearest shops are a couple of miles away & perhaps a small children’s play area.

Good size pitches and liked that the electric and water points were near. Facilities were excellent and always clean amazing food and drinks in the cafe too and nice that it was all dog friendly. Lovely walk around the moorings and peaceful setting.

Rules were not enforced meaning ball games played on the pitch next to us so my car and caravan got hit by balls and electric scooter running circles around us. WIFI signal on our pitch wasn’t great because the mast was too far away most other pitches would’ve got much better signal but it was pretty much none existent when inside the van.

Well maintained, quiet camp site. Porta loos were handy as the main building is quite a walk away. Lovely pub just down the road (Royal Oak) where we were able to get food and a sainsburys not far away for small essentials. Friendly staff in reception also.

This was our first time camping and we were dubious but we really enjoyed our stay and the chn wanted to stay longer.

The toilets were temperamental and kept losing power which meant they wouldn’t flush and were in darkness. This didn’t really detract from our stay much as we were put a lot of the day.

The main camp field next to the glamping tents is a little better maintained than the top field. We pitched up on the top as the bottom was full, the grass was dry, longer and really spikey! However it didn’t bother my chn at all.

Also the WiFi didn’t reach where we were.

Overall we had a really lovely stay and I would visit again for a few nights.

Site it in a lovely place place, it is clean and tidy. Ideal for families, you can fish on the canal or hire a boat or just play games on the camping fields. Cafe is lovely and staff are polite and helpful.

Needs better toilet and shower facilities on the camping field although they have other toilets and showers at the marina which is 5 mins walk away.

The quiet , peaceful location, and excellent clean user friendly facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The actual location was convenient for our purpose, which involved travel to another location, during the day.

We regularly use this fully serviced site. It is clean, has large, well spaced pitches that are reasonably priced and well maintained. The on site facilities are clean and modern.

Camping field was quiet and spacious. We were able to arrive from midday & pitch up the tent where we wanted.
The cafe served lovely milkshakes & coffee & the marina is very well kept.
Campers have portable unit toilets/showers that were very clean on arrival.
Overall we enjoyed our one night stay.

The camping field itself has no pot washing facilities or bins.
The toilets & showers are portable ones. (Tbf very clean on arrival).
We couldn't get a WiFi connection in camping field.
There are lots of lovely lights running across the field & over to the glamping area but they were turned off which was a shame.
A shop for essentials would have been handy & a charging point for phones.

Nice quiet campsite near the Marina, camping field for tents with level pitches, toilets, shower pods, and water taps, though had separate area for caravans/campervans with electric hook up. Lovely Tipis available for hire also on the camping field. More showers /toilets near Reception, also very clean. Licensed cafe on site with good range of food available.

Cafe was quite pricey. Some staff need to work on their customer service skills. Part of our family were in a campervan so were on a separate part of the site so weren't really nearby - only affected us in the way that they had the electricity and we didn't and we hadn't doubled up on taking equipment ie kettles/stoves as thought we would be near them, however we will know for next time!
