Probably the best toilet/shower facilities I’ve ever experienced on a campsite, kept spotlessly clean by the incredibly friendly staff.
The onsite cafe is very welcoming, with a fabulous selection of food. The breakfast menu is particularly good.Δεν μου άρεσε: –

Lovely scenery on the Marina, great licensed cafe selling great food. Nice walks.
Δεν μου άρεσε: The only problem is the Internet connection which isn't great due to being out in the countryside so not a good signal on mobile phones or if using streaming services on your TV. I would visit again as a great stop over and not too far away from home for a quick getaway.

We arrived on Friday 6/2/26, got set up and went to the cafe with our little yorkshire terrier - Billy. Unfortunately he became unwell, vomited twice and then had a seizure and loss of consciousness. My partner had gone to the bathroom and I was completely distraught! I can not praise the staff and customers enough for their care and compassion towards myself and Billy. Especially one of the customers who was wonderful and stayed with us until my partner returned. Also, thank you to the staff member who had cleaned the mess up when I got back and to the gentleman who provided blankets for Billy. Billy has been slowing for a few months now and the vet thinks it is likely one of his heart valves. We are keeping him happy with lots of treats and cuddles.
