Busy campsite with lots of children playing around outside freely from dawn until late, like holidays used to be

Some were still on the zip wire after 11pm which was quite noisy from where our spot was

We have always loved this site and this year was no exception. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the facilities were all clean and organised well and the site was so peaceful with lovely atmosphere of guests. The riding stables are now under new ownership and our experience was another memory to add to the list at the site.

Could do with more facilities for teenagers to meet new friends.

Petorama has gone which is a HUGE loss to this site
The only food option is fish and chips or a pizza van. Apparently staffing issues has caused this but there seems little to no attempt to rectify this like other food vans or a date when pub food might be available again

No where you could really walk to outside of the campsite.

Facilities on site were excellent. Kids loved the children entertainment early evening. Showers and toilets very clean. Overall a well maintained site. All staff were very friendly. A very enjoyable stay. thank you.

Unfortunately WiFi wasn’t great. We were in the top field but not far from a pole. It kept going on and off.
Would have liked the pitches marked out better as we were scared of going over to the next pitch. (Only our second camping adventure). Couldn’t see the pitch number at first as covered by long grass. Perhaps strimm around the numbers every so often when empty. Suggestion - please could toilets in block be cleaned half at a time, as 2 hours is a long time to be closed especially with young children and the distance to the next block is abit too far (kids always ask at the last minute!!)

Have stayed here twice now and both time amazing the site has so much space, extras and amazing walks around the site to take the dogs

Amazing site that has all your needs covered. My instinct was to avoid large busy sites but this didn't feel like that even though it was high season. The fields are all smaller and broken up so it feels more low key and quieter. Biggest plus is all the activities for the kids; from the play areas, to the swimming pool, the crazy golf and the free entertainment laid on in the evening. I don't even need to mention the shop, cafe, restaurant and bar. Brilliantly located too for all the great attractions in this part of North Devon.

i liked how clean the site was, all pitches were clean and easy to park on. Toilet / Shower block was very central to the field we were in.
