Very friendly staff , facilities were very good , will 100% be booking again for the summer .

Couldn’t get onto the WiFi , but not the end of the world , was very relaxing .

Pitches are good with views over rolling countryside. Toilets warm and clean

Bags of space, with excellent facilities. Particularly enjoyed the extensive walks within the site. They are well marked and beautiful. We stayed in late October, so can’t comment on high season, but our stay was very competitively priced & great value for money

Stayed for only one night as a stopover in our campervan. Didn’t use facilities except toilet/showers but I think the other facilities were closed anyway so can’t comment on them.
Shower blocked was ok, just a little dated but clean and had hot water, plenty of toilets and showers.
Site was clean and tidy except the reception area but I think there was some renovations going on. Quiet site but it wasn’t busy when we went. Can imagine it could be loud during peak times. Some nice views of the hills.

We wanted grass/no electric pitch but was only offered the option of electric/hardstanding pitch even though there was plenty of pitches available. We didn’t make use of the electric.
Grass had recently been cut and there was a lot of cuttings left over that was walked in to the van. A bit frustrating to constantly sweep out. Trying to avoid the grass (which was also wet) meant walking on the path to get to the shower block which would take you the long way round to get there because of the location of our pitch, not great when you’re in a rush!
No internet.
And lastly, the staff could’ve been more welcoming. Felt like I was being an inconvenience just by turning up and checking in!

Lovely and clean shower and toilet block. Facilities stayed open until 3 November as half term was later this year. Nice young man on reception who was very informative.
Nice and close to Watermouth Castle which is why we stayed there.

Crazy golf was an expensive addition, £7 for two, especially as it was flooded so couldn’t play half of it!
The swimming pool changing rooms had an awful odour and very cold. The showers were dirty with hair and goodness knows what on the floor which was there for both days so hadn’t been cleaned. I get it was the end of the season but didn’t look very nice.
We had to buy WI-FI for an additional £12 which was disappointing. Most places I’ve stayed in is free.

Facilities were good and easily accessible. Appears to be a nice site but didn’t use anything other than the toilets and chemical waste. It was a great price for the night and electric hook up was included in the price.

Pitch up allocated a spot but the field was in fact closing down for winter. When I arrived to check in I Was allocated a pitch but when I got there it was already in use. I had to drive back to reception as I was unable to reach them by phone. I was then allocated another pitch which again was already taken up. I ended up going in one that was empty but couldn’t get through on phone to let them know, I wasn’t driving around again to speak to them. Seems a little unorganised as surely you know what pitches are in use if you have closed all other fields.

Site situation very good, close to some good towns and villages, loads of room on pitch, plenty to do on site, toilet blocks very clean and tidy, dog walks in woodland excellent, the overall site is massive, and although our week was mainly raining each day, the site was still used by many fellow campers.
We intend to revisit next year.
Price wise, very competitive, highly recommended.
