The facilities at the campsite are excellent. I especially enjoyed being able to swim every morning.

The weather was quite windy and we were fairly exposed on field 5 - would prefer the lower fields next time we come.

Site is clean, toilets especially and the showers are hot which is good for adults.

They have been taken over by park holidays and as such things have changed that were not communicated. There used to be early arrival spaces which have now been built on, I emailed in June to ask and they said all ok to arrive early morning, get there and no where to leave the caravan so we were stuck with what to do. The pet place has closed, not major but again was good for young children but again not communicated. Going to be replaced with an arcade so just more expense for families. Prices on site in the bar are mega expensive and food options advertised were lacking. Showers were so hot that you couldn’t wash small children properly. Stumbled upon a family shower room on the last day, definitely could’ve been told about it when checking in

Lots of activities for all ages, great evening entertainment and fantastic location.

Good quality pitches, great facilities plenty of showers and toilets, clean friendly site. Lots of space to explore, great play area and sports fiend for children to play. Swimming facilities were great. Location close to Combe Martin, Ilfracombe Barnstaple and so much more. we enjoyed the horse riding available on site who offers a very friendly and enjoyable experience for our two girls, would highly recommend! One night we treated ourselves to the on-site pizza takeaway which was great! The kids loved the petting zoo that came on-site one evening! Good facilities for clothes washing and drying.

Some on-site facilities were not open ie kids karts, arcade etc
As campers we use freezer blocks to keep our food cool, on-site Stowford farm ask you to rent and pay a freezing charge for each ice block you hire. This became expensive and a tiresome way to operate. Perhaps a freezer in each laundry block rather than the shop would be a more practical solution.

Facilities, pool, bar, pizzas

Chicken burger from the on site chippy was terrible but the pizza from the pizza van was excellent

The site is amazing. Staff very friendly. Delicious food and drink.

Not much to do for older kids and even when travelling around not too much close by.

The campsite had everything you could need. Shower blocks were more thank big enough for each also very clean and tidy. Easy to get to even in a motor home

Big pitches , lovely shower rooms/toilet block

When arrived on site allocated pitch and there was someone already on it , went back to reception and given another pitch . Pitch given overcrowded when there was a line of pitches in-front/half the field empty , they like to clump you all together .
Sloping pitches - some were absolutely awful.
Wi-Fi does not work- own mobile service didn’t work either , so don’t go if you need to be connected
