Bird Rock is a beautiful place with spectacular scenery. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about my visit. There are some beautiful walkways and it is basically between two towns. I went on a few adventures and loved every minute of it. Apart from going to the shops, there was no need to leave the campsite as it is such a pleasant place to stay. The proprietor was very kind and very helpful when I could not start my car, to which helped me get it working again.
The ONLY thing I would say is you need to travel at least one mile from the site to use the mobile phone or internet but this perhaps just shows how over reliant we are on the internet and on technology.
For somebody who has mental health issues, I can say that stopping at Bird Rock reduced my anxiety and I cannot wait until next year so I can go again. I just wish many more people would enjoy the countryside and realise how important it really is.

The views! Lovely relaxed feeling and very easy going. Good toilet and shower facilities, lots of space. Nearby pub, the Railway, had good food and gave a warm welcome.

Loved everything!! There isn’t much phone signal (as others have mentioned in reviews) but I loved that! Everyone was very friendly and laid back. The sound of the sheep and cows was lovely and the views around are beautiful. Lovely walk and paddle in the stream also!

The amenities are basic but they all work and we found they were well maintained! It’s a campsite so don’t expect 5* but we found them more than suitable and clean.

Really close to a very underrated beautiful waterfall! - Dolgoch Falls. We went evening time and it was so unbelievably peaceful and absolutely stunning.

It can be a little bit of a drive to some of the main areas but we love a road trip. Especially somewhere so stunning.

We loved the peace and quiet with a true camping feel and the stars were breathtaking at night.

We will 100% be back! One of my favourite campsites and locations.

Showers where very slippy as my partner slipped in the shower getting in and banged his hip and bruised his foot

Beautiful scenery, short drive from the nearest beach. Great, friendly atmosphere and a walkers paradise.
Everyone was really friendly and we all had a great time.
Will definitely be booking again next year.

We liked the owners and the views the campsite came with. Easy access to toilets and showers. Plenty of space on the field we were in.

Absolutely stunning views! It’s close to many beach’s with a short drive. Very cheap facilities on site such as showers, washing machine and kitchen appliances. When we arrived on site it was a friendly atmosphere and staff. As we had never experienced camping before this 1st time experience was amazing and we can’t wait to come back again. The site was very clean and well kept.
