Syntes om Fantastic site, washroom’s were immaculate. Site security close kids parks at 9pm so for younger children you have a chance at getting them to sleep before 10 pm

Syntes om Facilities were very good and the pitch size was brilliant.

Syntes ikke om Not the campsite fault but the noise from the road and the boy-racers wheel spinning late at night which was right behind us.

Syntes om Fairly quiet camp with music off by 10pm, last year when we stayed there were regular evening patrols for noise but not so much this year and there were some noisy groups on some nights. Electrical points on pitches are well positioned and clearly marked.

Syntes ikke om No sanitary bins provided in cubicle of individual toilets, only bins in bathroom were in main wash area…so you’d have to take waste with you, very unhygienic and embarrassing for young teenagers. Poor management service, came back one day after a day out to find the green space next to our tent had been filled with other camper vans, meaning our tent was surrounded and our view obscured. This was not an official pitch and not marked on map, but the management made out that it was even though it wasn’t marked and family next to us had paid for additional car space which was also filled with camper vans. Was not the other campers fault as they had clearly indicated on their booking how many vans they were bringing but these did not fit on their original pitch hence being moved to surround my tent. Luckily the vans only stayed 3 days, but the service from management means I won’t be returning to this site.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you for your recent visit to Chycarne We appreciate your careful feedback Wardens are patrolling every night but it's maybe you just did not catch them. We do not supply sanitary bins but all such waste is free to go down the toilets. It is there that such waste is collected by the approved waste contractors. Okay your point regarding poor management service is misleading as it clear that you do not understand Firstly the pitches next to you are in fact DP pitches. They are not on the bookable side of the pitch map but are pitches that are available to Chycarne in an event if we require to move a visitor like in this case. Wardens did attend on your request and found in fact that it was your tent that exceeded your pitch boundary but never mind. Wardens equally noted that your view was not obscured as they were parked to the side of you and not in the front but as you are aware we never guarantee a sea view for this very reason. Okay on our booking form it clearly states that it's one tent and one vehicle per pitch to fit a 10 x 8 pitch. These visitors did not complete the booking correctly and only added the extra vehicle in the special request box And we are talking about long wheel base transit vans that never would be able to fit two of these in to a pitch with two tents as well. The visitors were simply trying to avoid having to pay for another two pitches. Equally they did not pay for extra car space as they claim but just added in the special request box that they were bringing a second vehicle This is only a special request and does not form the contractual element of the booking and the booking system does not pick up such requests. I think we demonstrated complete tolerance and professionalism to them and courtesy towards you We did check and you were not blocked in as you claim and found the best solution to their situation Can not see how we are to blame for that with poor management service. Of course you clearly were unhappy and we can only apologise for that but it was not intentional but as I say the best solution We hope that you reconsider about returning as you know Chycarne is a fantastic campsite and you very much enjoy it here This situation is a isolated incident with the likely event not to ever happen again Chycarne

Syntes om Clean facilities, organised pitches, good size pitches, camp rules and patrols kept things quiet in the evening, nice ground to peg tent into. Tried to stay longer but site fully booked.

Syntes ikke om Stayed on pitch K31 and electric hook up was a bit of a stretch as it was located on the pitch behind, could have done with a 25m extension not 15m. Pitch had slight slope but didn’t cause too many issues.
