Syntes om 2nd visit to this site pitch’s again clean and enough room. Site was busy but well organised staff friendly and always willing to help.

Syntes ikke om Not really a dislike but they had some major work going on with the pod no problem with that it has to be done, what I do object to is the digger driver sat in his cab with no idea what was he was doing as I carried on to site for him to start shout waving his hands and shaken his head. Someone should have been looking after the traffic on/off the site. I would have had no problem waiting so he could do what he needed.

Syntes om The staff were very nice especially Paul the night warden.

Syntes ikke om Pitch 14 had 2 large gravel tracks that forced us to move the tent a lot further forward, the ground was very uneven. Only 3 toilets and 2 showers for a large site was obviously not even and over the weekend queues would form. Lots of noise after 8 and to be honest I think it’s too early. Kids and adults walking under are tent and kids just dumping bikes all over.

I have passed your feedback about pitch 14 onto the maintenance team to have a look into. We have also passed on your feedback in regards to the toilet and shower facilities for review. Regarding noise, bike storage, and children cutting through pitches, we’ll remind guests of our site rules to help everyone enjoy a more respectful and peaceful stay. We do also have the site warden to report any issues too, as well as an emergency contact number for any issues that you have during your stay.

Syntes om There is plenty of space for each pitch, despite there been lots of rain the ground was firm and not muddy. Toilets/ showers were clean and plenty of hot water. Dow walking exercise field was big enough for the dogs to run and do what dogs need to do. 16Amp electric is very handy. Nice little site and will be back.

Syntes ikke om This is not a dislike but an improvement. 1: security lights while agree they are for everyone they could do with not been that bright. 2: A dog waste bin at the entrance to the field. 3: More washing up sinks and better access too deep and high only one drainer board?. As I say these are not dislikes but maybe pitch up should have a improvement section.

Syntes om The site was clean well kept toilets a bit dated but clean owner was a wonderful man with lots of stories that made us giggle nice food van and coffee van over the bank holiday weekend showers are 20p for 5 mins so no push button we had a wonderful time and would definitely go again

Syntes om Fantastic views from the site. Plenty of space around the tents.

Syntes ikke om showers & toilets were cleaned each day only issue was when they cleaned showers the showers they just pushed any hair, rubbish in to the corner and left it there! just pick it up. No signs to inform you where to empty your waste. I no they were busy on over the weekend but the bins were a issue and rubbish just stacked around the bins, Would suggest a very large skip for bank holidays.

Syntes om The staff (Most of them) were very polite and would help you out. Toilets were always clean to a high standard. Take away on site food was very good.

Syntes ikke om The tent pitch's were the worst I've ever seen on a site no grass and the slope was dreadful every morning we would find the bed had slipped towards the river at the back of us. Street lighting light up the tent like a light house we have darkened bedrooms and a roof cover but it was like daylight all night. Having a staff member stopping at the back of you is not good when they get dropped off twice on the trot @ gone 3 in the morning and not even be quite about it!. The stream that run along the back of the pitches was dirty with disregarded BBQ/Plastic bottles kids toys etc. I no this is sonly down to guest but untunefully its the site responsibility to clean this up. Its a real shame as the camping seems to be a hassle for the site.
