Syntes om We stayed on one of the bigger pitches as we needed to bring two cars. Plenty of space and having a water tap on the pitch was very handy! Our electric lead did not reach our tent but the owner lent us an extension to use, which was very helpful. Thank you! Our kid loved the animals, especially Oscar the dog, and the park. The family bathroom was also very handy. Even though it was busy, the site was fairly quiet and all the guests were respectful of each other during the week. The facilities were clean and well laid out. The addition of a communal freezer was very useful as we could freeze ice packs to make pack ups for the day. Very close to Alton Towers and beautiful views all around. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Syntes ikke om Our only complaint was the shower taps. They were timed ones but only lasted about 3 seconds before shutting off, which was very frustrating. They should be a little longer.

Syntes om The site was lovely and quiet and in a great place for day visits to York. Toilets and showers were clean and tended to regularly. Val was amazing. She checked on us daily and really dotted on our little boy, who absolutely loved her! As it wasn't that busy, she let us spread our pitch out a bit and we had plenty of space. Val even lent us a wind break when our gazbo broke in the wind. We had a fantastic week and will hopefully be back next year

Syntes om It was in a beautiful setting, with cute lambs running around. The family who run it were helpful and friendly. Easy access to a lot of places, including Bakewell and a handful of caverns. The fire pitches were an amazing touch.

Syntes ikke om Unfortunately, the pitch next to us allowed their kids to kick a football around right next to us, resulting in our moterhome and our car getting hit many times; we have a nice football print in our car door now. There should be stricter rules on ball games around the campsite. Also, only one shower resulted in us having to wait half an hour. 5 mins isn't quite enough for some people as well, as hubby was still sudsy with shower gel when the water went off, resulting in him having to spend another pound and holding up the queue even more, when he only needed 30 more seconds. More showers are a must and a time limit is a bit silly when you've paid for it.
