Syntes om Wonderful location- very quiet, in the middle of nowhere and each pitch is divided by several trees and general woodland so it feels like you are truly wild camping!
Plots easily marked- each plot is parked easily with numbered posts.
Communicative and helpful host- before arriving to the site, I recieved a text from her telling me what plots were available, thst I could pick any that were free when I arrive, indications on where to find the toilets and showers etc. Additionally, the next morning, our car didnt start; the battery was flat. I texted the owner to see if she could possibly come help jumpstart it with her own vehicle and she unfortunately was at work however she notified all her neighbours and when that didnt work she texted the other campers on the site! Eventually someone came by to our aid and we were able to get running again but if she hadn't helped we probably would've been stuck there for a far longer time than desirable or got breakdown insurance to help out as it was fairly early in the morning and we were partly too shy to go and knock on car doors and potentially wake people up to help us in our plight. She truly was an angel and it seems that the people thst stay with her are regulars too which just shows me that she has consistent enough character to have made an impression on not just me, but multiple people. Enough to come back again and again and to be honest, I think I will. ♡
Glamping????-Before we left, we took a small walk around to look at the site and the facilities and honestly, the toilets and showers are SO nice! They're like, in the woods still in a clearing and theyre wooden shacks and rhen you go inside and they look so sleek, clean and modern even. They truly looked great honestly and I regretted not needing to stay longer so I could use them because they genuinely looked so nice.
WiFi? - im not sure about this one as i didnt actually check or use it. I think there is WiFi but check with owner.
Syntes ikke om This is more of a note for future bookers than anything! But when looking for the site, it is a bit hard because we couldnt actually find it on google map, we had to find where to go using the post code only and then look around for signs which we didnt spot easily and then we used the map on pitchup to view where it was more accurately. So essentially, you are driving up the side of someone's driveway by their home(presumably the owner's) and then on the immediate left at the end, there is the entrance to the wood. But yeah I thought Id put that in here because it was a tiny bit confusing and I thought it may help someone!
Again another note rather then a true complaint, if people are travelling to the location expecting to find a city or town nearby, there is only a small village, the next true big town is quite a few miles out! I'd recommend you bring your own food with you to the site. We luckily had a bit with us so we were okay but we probably wouldve gone to sleep with hungry bellies if we didn't.
