Syntes om We booked Spinney Wild Camping on a whim and really landed on our feet. Neil and Cherie were so welcoming and provided everything needed for a low-key wild camping experience. There is so much choice for tents and campers - no set pitches so you can tuck yourself away in the woods so it feels like you are alone. Yet there are the cleanest compost loos, a hot shower and washing up facilities right there. Spinney would suit you well if you want a quiet, back to nature experience. We stayed for 2 nights and saw/heard so many bird species, watched squirrels jump from tree to tree, hung out with the 3 piglets and the chickens, were visited by a deer and enjoyed really dark skies. It was heaven! Our hosts were amazing and clearly love and care for the land and the woods meticulously. We will be back soon!
