Syntes om Lovely little site. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife, including horses and two fun loving dogs who will want you to play with them, very good with children. Compost toilet was very clean and emptied regularly, as well as the option to use another toilet at the house if needed. Didn't try the shower so couldn't comment, saw people using it though. Had a lovely fire pit in the evening which was allowed and paving slabs provided to protect the grass. All essentials covered at this site and owner works very hard to make sure you have a lovely stay, thoroughly recommend.

Syntes om Great site, some development going on under new management but not disruptive and the site looks excellent. Great facilities, with one toilet block fully renovated including a laundry (make sure to bring cash). At the back of the site there is access to a beautiful walk by the river and up into the hills, making this site great for both touring and backpacking. Very laid back atmosphere and helpful, one member of staff even helped us start our car when the battery went dead. Thanks again for that! Thoroughly recommend.

Syntes om Good location close to Bristol and Bath. Lovely views and close to animals (very friendly sheep on site). Toilets were great and the shower was excellent.

Syntes ikke om Water tap pressure was great, bit too good as it produced a jet when operated with the foot pedal, got a bit wet.

Syntes om Short walk to the beach, lots of space, easy to find. Also there is a close by station with vintage trains that you can catch to the coastal town of Minehead.

Fra bestyreren: Hi Daniel Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am glad you enjoyed many aspects of the site and take on board there is always room for improvement. We are a tiny site in terms of numbers of tents and usually the facilities are adequate, however I do recognise the need for an additional toilet and one is planned to be installed shortly. Syntes om Great views, close to waterfall (turn left out the campsite and follow the road to the cottage) and lots of space to pick from on site. We also liked the washing up area.

Syntes ikke om Toilet tents and compost toilets not clean and tents not in good condition, needs improvement for us to stay again. Drinking water has a sign that advises campers to boil it first, but after asking staff were told we could drink it without doing so, some clarity here would be good, as this was not mentioned on pitchup.
