Lovely clean campsite. You could choose where to pitch up in the allocated fields. Facilities were lovely, clean and new. Plenty of necessities such as toilet roll, washing up liquid, bin bags etc available. Location is ideal just off the main road. Would definitely come back in the future

Everything! Great scenery, great choices to pitch up! We have been 3 times now and I will never get bored! Quiet and peaceful. Showers are hot, toilets are clean. Nice area to wash dishes with all sponges and soaps provided by the owners. Sinks to also wash your face, brush your teeth etc! I have shared a video on tik tok of the campsite, it has gone viral with a lot of interest.

Amazing views, really liked the freedom to choose your own pitch. Good facilities within. Was not expecting to have showers this was a great surprise. Friendly staff.

The site has plenty of space and good washing up area and toilet facilities. The staff were very friendly and the site was very peaceful at night. It's a great spot for walking with Blencathra towering above it.

My one and only dislike was that there isn't much flat ground. The ground is soft and is smooth but if you struggle to sleep on an incline there isn't a lot of flat pitches for such a big site.

Basic site but has everything you need for a short stay.
Quiet and spacious and the view up to Blencathra is amazing.
Showers and toilets are basic but clean and well maintained and the staff seemed very friendly.
Incredible value for money.

Quite hard to find a perfectly flat pitch on the top field but the bottom field is fine

Few noisy people after 12am blasting music and shrieking on Saturday night otherwise was very peaceful

A lovely, quiet campsite with plenty of space.
Option to buy fire pits for ten night & logs.
All the facilities needed & regularly cleaned.
Will most likely visit again in the future.
