The area was fantastic, beautiful views, easy access to Keswick. We stayed in the bottom field which was pretty flat and had space to run around in. The facilities are at the top of the hill so a bit of a walk but clean and well stocked with toilet roll and washing up liquid which was good. Very good value for money

We arrived on a Saturday and the campsite was very busy! It meant long queues for the showers and toilets and there was just a lot of general noise, no one being a nuisance just a lot of people. However, by Sunday night most people had left and the rest of our stay was very peaceful

Incredible views, stunning location overlooked by Blencathra. Facilities very clean and well stocked. Would absolutely recommend, and will definitely look to come back!

Two toilets and showers each for males and females is a little lacking when the site is at its busiest. Also watch out for getting cars off the site when it’s been raining - some pushing may be required!

Very little. You get what it says on the tin. Wild camping with basic but more than adequate amenities. Some areas are sloped which is not ideal. Provide a freezer for ice packs. Really helps.
