Location of the campsite was great - only a 10minute drive into Keswick and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Washing up facilities - washing up liquid and sponges provided.

Campsite was on a slope and uneven ground, you had to be very mindful when pitching your tent in order to avoid being on a complete slope.

Only x4 showers and toilets on the campsite - x2 for women and x2 for men. Not enough when the campsite is quite busy, you end up having to queue for quite a while.

Good location nice setting,wasn’t much info when we got here and we camped on the top field which is on a slope and hard to find a flat spot,if I come again I would prefer to camp on the lower field near the stream,some noisemakers on the first night that had music on until 4am and someone else took the toilet roll to light their bbq but this wasn’t the owners fault although their presence would have been a help.Apart from that I would come again and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Excellent campsite, clean, quiet, great location, good clean basic men/women facilities, proper toilet cubicles, showers, hot water, indoor seating area.
Short 15 min walk to Threkeld and a couple of restaurants, pubs. 10 min drive to Keswick, 15 mins Grasmere and Ullswater.

On a very large hill it rained very heavy the time we were there made it very difficult to get the car up to the tent (I know you can’t control the weather)

Was a lovely maintained campsite. Toilet block/ showers were clean others than muddy footprints (to be expected) - ways the clear this up available if an issue. Well stocked with toilet roll. Plug sockets in the toilet block building were very handy for quick phone charges.
Location easy to find and easy enough to get into Keswick town centre on the bus from the nearest village. First field is on a slope which we knew beforehand so was prepared for this. We picked a spot by the trees near to the top. It rained quite a bit our first night there and again on our final day. If we set up nearer the bottom we might have had more issues with boggy ground. Easily able to drive the car to our chosen pitch and back down without any issues/ getting stuck. Lots of groups camping/ hiking together which was lovely to see. Would definitely come back to low hollows in the future

When the weather is bad, because you’re on a hill our car can’t drive up the hill, and also tents easily blow down.
