Camping at the Paddocks

Syntes om Lovely small campsite near lots of nice beach options. Pitches were spacious with nice toilets, showers and washing up facilities. There is also a covered area where my children enjoyed the rock painting activity that was set up. They also enjoyed seeing the horses on the adjacent field. Jan the owner was very welcoming and had lots of local tips.

Syntes om We were lucky to stay at this lovely quiet farm site for two days over May bank holiday Saturday & Sunday as many were all booked up. We were greeted by Jan who said park where you like and showed us where the amenities were. The showers were amazingly hot, powerful and clean also the toilets were spotless. The views were stunning.
The highlight was seeing their two baby foals Ronnie & Reggie, 1 week & 3 weeks old so cute along with very proud ex racing horse mums. This site was so perfect the station, Manorbier, was a 15 minute walk away, you can pay when you get on the train if not got a train app, that we stayed another 2 days so we could travel by train to Tenby and Saundersfoot rather than trying to park our Motorhome. We would highly recommend this site. Jan & her husband were lovely to talk too and informative on areas to visit. Should we ever visit Wales again would definitely stay again. Thank you Jan. PS you need levelling blocks although there are wooden ones on site to use. No Wi-Fi dongle needed.

I am so glad you liked the site. As you say, it's a small site on the farm, surrounded by fields and animals - yet only a stones throw to the train station.

Syntes om Lovely small site with a very helpful and pleasant owner. The site is well kept and peaceful. Picnic benches available for each pitch. Nice hot showers!

Syntes om Lovely campsite, it has five pitches with toilets and showers, showers were really good; very clean, cannot fault the site; one of the best places we have stayed would definitely book again; stunning with a lovely host .

Syntes om Absolutely lovely small campsite, toilets and showers spotlessly clean. Owner was really welcoming and there was a lovely atmosphere amongst the campers there. Our dog really loved the fully fenced in dog paddock where she could run free and the kids enjoyed the rock painting! We have put it in our list of sites to revisit. 😊

Syntes om Toller Platz mit großen Parzellen, wunderschön angelegt mit viel Liebe und Herzblut, überall Blumen und sogar auf der Toilette ein frisches Sträußchen! Auf der einen Seite an eine Viehweide mit Rindern angrenzend, auf der anderen der Paddock mit Pferden, herrlich! Ohne Hund wären wir sicher noch länger geblieben.

Syntes ikke om Wandern mit (großem) Hund wegen der vielen Jungtiere auf den Weiden eher problematisch, wir haben uns nicht wirklich getraut - aber dafür kann der Platz eigentlich nix…

".Fantastic campsite with large plots, beautifully landscaped with so much love and care, flowers everywhere, and even a fresh bouquet in the restroom! It borders a cattle pasture on one side and a paddock with horses on the other – simply wonderful! We would have definitely stayed longer if we hadn't had a dog."

Disliked:" Hiking with a (large) dog is rather problematic due to the many young animals in the pastures; we didn't really dare – but that's not really the campsite's fault…"

If you stay again, I hope your dog can cope with the animals in the surrounding fields and will hopefully enjoy the 1 acre fully secured dog paddock we have just down the road.

Syntes om Throughly enjoyed our stay. Jan was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble for her. Toilets and showers were kept very clean. Benches outside each plot which was a nice touch and a nice seating area under the shelter. Bins provided for all rubbish. Definitely will be booking again.

Lovely views and saw the ponies,which was a bonus for my 6 year old.
