The interior consists of a large open plan bedroom/living space including:

Super-king size bed below a vaulted ceiling and glass pyramid rooflight allowing you to lie in bed and star-gaze

Large floor to ceiling windows to 3 sides with stunning river & mountain views

Patio doors open out onto a wraparound deck which floats high above the hillside, with access to your own secluded hillside hot tub, BBQ and seating area, with views up to the Cairngorm Mountains.

The luxury bathroom has a double-ended freestanding bath with strategically placed windows to allow you to enjoy hillside views whilst taking a soak, walk-in rainfall shower, 'His & Hers' wash basins.

The separate kitchen is fully equipped including a fridge-freezer, separate wine fridge, oven & hob, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and breakfast bar.

Experience a romantic break away at our traditional but luxurious, Shepherd’s View shepherds hut with its very own private hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite shower room, comfortable sofa and wood-burner for cosy nights in!

Sleeping 2, Shepherd’s View is our bespoke designed shepherds hut, situated in an elevated position giving beautiful views to the south and east across the neighbouring farmland, Blackwater River and the hills of Glenshee. Shepherd’s View is also next to our large pond which is teeming with wildlife and attracts a large number of birds.

Shepherd’s View (which at 22ft x 8ft is slightly larger than most) has a double bed with luxury mattress, en-suite shower-room with electric shower, loo and wash-basin, fold-away dining ledge & stools, snuggle sofa, freesat TV, Starlink supefast wifi, electric heating and a wood burner for romantic evenings. The perfectly formed kitchen area includes a built-in oven, standard size fridge with small freezer compartment, induction hob, kettle and toaster, as well as a good selection of cooking and dining equipment.

With plenty of windows and a fully-glazed door, you can let the light flood in and enjoy the views whether you are inside or out.

Outside, Shepherd’s View is surrounded by its own private garden area with a hot tub for 2, Weber charcoal BBQ, comfy seating and a picnic bench for alfresco dining. There is private parking for 1 car immediately behind the shepherds hut.

All bedlinen, towels, spa towels and robes, logs and kindling for the wood-burner and electric used is included within your holiday price.

We are sorry but pets and children are not accepted in Shepherd’s View.

The Silver Birch Treehouse is accessed through a private wall of logs then down a fairy-light lit track surrounded by silver birch and hazel trees

Similar in layout and facilities to the Scots Pine Treehouse, but with some fun additions, including a bathroom bubble wall and extended decking area.

The large open plan bedroom/living area includes:

Dining area

The kitchen includes fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven & gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. The breakfast bar makes the most of the views north to the Cairngorms

The sumptuous bathroom has a double-ended freestanding bath with 'water-blade' tap, large walk-in rainfall shower, 'his & hers' wash basins and a feature bubble wall.

180o of floor to ceiling windows make the most of the stunning views in the living area and patio doors open out onto the wrap-around deck with outside dining area.

The private hot-tub is accessed via a spiral staircase from the deck, then through an arched hedge-way, into a secluded spot to enjoy the amazing views.
