Syntes om I had such a warm welcome from Simon when I arrived. It was a busy bank holiday Saturday. He greeted me with one of his owls ( as well as working on the campsite he is also Simon Smith of ' Owls and About' I came to learn. The campsite was busy and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and protected knowing Simon was on site and close at hand if I needed anything all whilst being given the space to be an independent traveller. I loved the relax nature of the site, the beautiful field to one side which was my 'bedroom' view and Simons amazing Owls to the right of me. The amazing South Heacham beach is a minutes walk away. The beach side cafe cooks the most amazing and affordable homemade meals. There is a general store which is close and stocked with absolutely everything. The showers always ran with hot water as did the sinks for washing up. The cleaner does an amazing job keeping the facilities tip top and replenished.

Syntes ikke om The site itself. It’s not ‘Rustic’ it’s scruffy, neglected and dirty. Facilities are not fit for purpose and look like they haven’t had a proper clean in months.
And this place cost us £70 per night!!(Moho, 3 nights, electric,2dogs) Most expensive place we’ve ever stayed. Won’t be back.

Syntes om This is a magical place! You have owls and Simon the groundskeeper. Really this place is a hidden gem. Nigel the host is real gentleman and all the staff are great. Facilities are great and the location is wonderful! Right next to beach! I will be back soon and hopefully will stay longer?

Syntes om Friendly park, Loved the wildlife and nice hot showers, water point and electric on our plot was a nice bonus, unfortunately our tent collapsed a bit in the night due to high winds 😂, however we had help putting up windbreaks the following day from staff whi ch was very helpful and very appreciated.

Syntes ikke om The state of the campsite. Dirty and scruffy. Toilets and showers dreadful,didn't look like they had been cleaned properly in months,shower curtains hanging off on the floor. Rubbish all over the place,that could easily have been cleared up. Glass on the drive/walk way.Grass not been cut for months. It looked like the whole place was falling apart.
