Líbí se This was out first time at York meadows with our new tentbox we are seasoned campers and usually use a Kampa air tent but we were getting fed up of the pack away especially in the rain. This is a great site not too far from York by taxi or car we used Uber and paid £14 there and £10.50 back. The site has everything you need apart from a bar/pub but the local village has one called the Highwayman which is within walking distance and the food is fantastic. The staff on the site are so friendly and helpful even down to setting us up with a pitch with a bit more shelter as it was quite windy and because we had a tentbox it was a good call. All in all we had a great 2 days at York Meadows.
