The amenities are basic but we knew that when we booked. There is a pub next door that serves food. We went for a look, but felt very underdressed in our camping clothing, so we didn't go in but know for next time. The owner is lovely/very friendly, she came numerous times a day to check everything's OK. She is also easy to contact via phone. We had to stay an extra night as we were unable to pack away in terrible weather. Other than the weather, we had a great time and have rebooked for the end of the month.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: An excellent location, right on the banks of Coniston water but a 5 minute walk into Coniston village. A perfect place for Kayaking, paddle boarding or swimming.
Very simple with just a fresh drinking water tank and some very clean portaloos, but you really don't need much more for a night or two, with the village nearby having everything else you might need.
I'm looking forward to booking again for next year.

Whilst this was a pop-up campsite with just toilets and clean water, everything was kept immaculately clean daily by the host. The ground itself was well-maintained, so even when it rained, it wasn't overly muddy!
